Mardyke Arena UCC are currently seeking applications for the position of Climbing Wall Instructor on a full-time basis. Applicants must have a Mountaineering Ireland Qualification or equivalent.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

·        Providing an exciting and fun environment for our members and patrons to engage in their climbing experience, ensuring that the sessions are always safe and entertaining.

·        Delivering a thorough safety briefing before all sessions to ensure that the participants are fully aware of all safety measures before taking part. 

·        Delivering all our different climbing sessions that we offer to a wide range of people of all ages and abilities, creating fun and engaging sessions for all.

·        Ability to remain calm, a compassionate approach to helping people.

·        Due to the customer-facing nature of our roles, confident in providing consistently high standards of customer care for our visitors throughout their experience, ensuring both their enjoyment and their safety at all times, by following processes and safety standards.
