The Mardyke Arena UCC are currently seeking applications for the position of Communications & Social Media Administrator to manage and oversee the strategic promotion of the Mardyke Arena UCC, its facilities and services. This role is for 30 hours per week.
Mardyke Leisure (UCC) DAC is an indoor sports facility for the students and staff of University College Cork, for elite sportspeople, and individuals and families.
The Mardyke is the only facility of its kind in Ireland to be accredited with major international business standards; ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management).
The Responsibilities are:
· Co-Ordinating, marketing & advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, website etc).
· Updating the Digital Displays onsite.
· Liaising with media & publishers as required.
· Managing the branding and oversee the design and production of all collateral, print and digital.
· Monitoring social channels for trending news & ideas.
· Developing a strong understanding of the company’s products & services.
· Co-ordinating with internal departments to respond quickly to customer requests.
· Management of Website & Social Media platform.
