On behalf of our Manufacturing Client in Shannon, Co Clare. We are currently sourcing a Operations Engineer to join their Team. As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for: ·       Managing daily VST operations while working with cross functional support and production facilities to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery targets. Removing roadblocks for the daily operations of the product build team to ensure reliability and consistency across the production team. ·       Presenting product and program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to the VST leader and across the wider site as required. ·       Being Involved in the complex decision making within the manufacturing site and with external parties. ·       Being an interface and coordinating any design engineering requirements with clients, subcontractors and vendors. To be successful in this role you will: ·       Have a Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline with proven operational experience in a manufacturing environment. ·       Have an indepth technical understanding and application of manufacturing concepts, methods, and procedures. ·       Be collaborating with manufacturing engineering teams to develop and improve manufacturing techniques. ·       Have a focus and vision on continuous improvement, lean opportunities, and labour productivity improvements. ·       Be presenting recommendations to internal teams on all functions, metrics, and project status. ·       Communicate with customers, direct team and a global cross functional teams. ·       Be leading programs, projects and initiatives while working on complex technological solutions while documenting, planning, and execute on these programs. ·       Be solving complex issues and developing new solutions using lean methodology while providing inputs and influencing decisions across the wider VST. ·       Possess deep and working knowledge of SAP.
