Principal Enterprise Architect Remote.    Primary duties include, but are not limited to: ·      Recommends solutions and/or new technologies based upon business value drivers, proven architecture principles, patterns and return on investment. ·      Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; drives the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture. ·      Defines architecture reference documentation and helps to enforce standards.  Anticipates areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. ·      Defines the architectures required to implement large complex cross-functional projects. ·      Collaborates with IT and ensures that the construction of architecture components (e.g. domain architecture, solution architecture and technical architecture) aligns with architecture strategies. ·      Works with business units to translate business strategy into discrete capabilities and helps to identify technology capability gaps in systems.      ·      Develops and maintains an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction for these architectures in support of business and technical strategies.  Explains how the roadmap maintains and delivers cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness. ·      Develops innovative technology approaches to solve business problems and is usually sought out as an expert in this field. ·      Participates in architecture governance processes and evangelizes standards and best practices. ·      Authors white papers and other documentation to foster innovative technology concepts or a point of view for management. ·      Develops reference architecture in accordance to our Enterprise Architecture Package (EAP) framework. ·      Performs IT due diligence to help guide rationalization decisions or systems assessments.      Education and Training. BA/BS degree in computer or information science discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.       Experience. ·      10 + years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines in the Healthcare field. ·      10 + years developing of complex, high-performance enterprise software. ·      3+ years as domain architect or equivalent experience in domain or enterprise architecture. ·      Knowledge of healthcare or healthcare systems a plus. ·      Experience with developing architecture strategies, blueprints and architecture models. ·      Extremely strong written, verbal and intrapersonal skills. ·      A positive outlook, a passion for architecture discipline and the ability to work as part of a team. A sense of urgency and the ability to hit the ground running with minimal direction. ·      The ability to deal with ambiguity and change. ·      Strong visualization and executive level presentation capabilities. ·      Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture tools and frameworks (Knowledge of iServer and Software AG – Alphabet a plus. ·      Strong communication/documentation skills required and ability to work. at many different levels throughout the organization. ·      Experience investigating new technologies, authoring white papers and delivering presentations to senior leadership        #LI-VH2.
