Learning & Development Lead. Are you an experienced Learning & Development professional who is now looking for a new challenge? Our client, a high profile new Limerick based start-up in the bio/medical technology sector are now expanding their L&D/training function & looking to hire a talented, energetic & ambitious individual to take ownership of & continue to develop this function. The Job : As a key part of the overall HR team in Limerick, you will be responsible for developing & managing the L&D & professional development of colleagues across all levels of the organisation. You will continuously evaluate training needs on an individual & departmental basis, drive ongoing development of the L&D site, act as 1st point of contact for managers & employees on L&D programmes/initiatives, influence internal processes to drive impact, provide in-depth L&D metrics & reports to leadership teams & work with external partners to ensure a world class offering. Your Skills/Experience that we need: 3rd level degree qualified in HR, training/L&D or a related field.   4-5+ years’ experience in a similar level training/L&D specialist or manager role within a large corporate or multinational environment.  Experience gained in the pharma, medical devices or bio/medical technology sectors would be a major advantage. Excellent IT skills & knowledge of training tools/methodologies, including psychometric testing.   Creative approach to learning design & problem solving.  Proven ability to work on your own initiative & deliver on training/L&D projects.  Experience in managing apprenticeship programmes would be an advantage. The Offer : This position is being offered on a permanent basis with salary depending on candidate skills & experience but expected to be approx. 70-80k. There is also an excellent benefits package & strong further career growth & development potential.
