An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. Our Finance team brings together our financial perspectives into our overall strategic and tactical decision making.  Reporting to the Site Finance Lead, you will work with the Finance team and Operational areas to support the analysis and development of the financial information required to successfully support the company’s endeavours. You will become a member of the OLT (Operations Leadership team) onsite and will work with people at all levels of the organization to develop, report, monitor and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators. Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following: Lead the preparation and submission of the annual operating budget / forecasts using zero-based budgeting approach to achieve corporate deadlines and ensure divisional targets are met. Responsible for robust capital governance, forecasting, reporting and accounting. Support, evaluate, and assist in the development of standard costs and monthly analysis of production variances. Complete Monthly Financial closing and Performance Reporting and explanation of variances, including the completion of dashboards. Steer monthly Cost Tier & drive Cost Governance at site, driving a focus on site cost saving/productivity initiatives and development of finance performance metrics. Partner with Site Finance Lead to provide financial input and advice to our company’s leadership team. Contribute to site management operational and strategic initiatives e.g. costing new products / initiatives. Support, analyse, and assist in the preparation of R&D Tax Credits submissions and Government Grants claims. Develop, implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures of the company and coordinate both internal and external audits including SOX compliance. Drive continuous process optimization, standardization and stability. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: A professionally qualified accountant, or equivalent qualification, with 3-8 years post qualification experience ideally in a multinational manufacturing environment. Minimum B.A./B.S., preferably in Business, Finance, Science or Engineering. Demonstration of key finance competencies with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational industry and pharmaceutical industry desirable (preferably both. Experience in planning, budge, forecasting processes and inventory accounting and manufacturing variances. Strong financial acumen. Proactive approach to problem-solving.
