Would you like to be an API Laboratory Team Leader within our Ballydine site . Supported by a diverse, collaborative and multi-skilled global team of highly motivated individuals, you will be in a key leadership role in our analytical laboratory with responsibility for the API analytical review group. What you will do: Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: Be an active member of the Ballydine Laboratory Extended Leadership team and provide support and leadership to the department in team building, analytical testing , safety, compliance and improvement objectives. Ensuring that all product quality testing activities comply with cGMP. Ensure compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Financial requirements of the laboratory department are met.   Provide input and coaching on professional development and career paths for team. Oversight of the teams assigned to analytical reviews of product testing in a timely manner. Review all documentation and testing issues with the testing groups analysts to improve processes and procedures throughout the API laboratories. Maintain the team’s training in line with the expectation of the laboratory data reviewer role as testing and regulatory requirements evolve. Maintain analytical process knowledge retention through maintenance of Best Practice Memos and other knowledge repository where appropriate for the assigned group. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: Minimum education qualifications for this role are Life Sciences degree, or equivalent & Minimum BSc In Chemistry or related discipline. A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a regulated laboratory ideally within the Pharma industry and 2 years leading and coaching a team. Technical experience in data integrity, instrumentation, validation and software for example, Empower, SAP and/or similar. The ability to work in partnership with the Laboratory team as well as cross functionally. Strong Technical report writing skills.
