Reservations / Revenue Manager for a high profile Client in Limerick. The Role. The Reservations and Revenue Manager is responsible for the maximisation of room revenue, occupancy percentage, management of the bedroom reservations and allocations of bedrooms. This is achieved through efficient yield management, revenue analysis and tracking of reservations over multiple distribution channels, in conjunction with the General Manager. As a member of the Management Team, you will have the opportunity to assist in setting strategic direction, determine pricing, create promotions, develop operational processes and explore new distribution opportunities for sales. Lead the management of the Leisure and OTA (Online travel agent) room sales sector to ensure maximum revenue optomisation/online sales. Responsible for. · Manage the bedroom reservation function associated with adhoc, phone, Event and leisure sectors. · Assist Event Managers as required with bedroom requirements for conference and event activity. · Manage room allocations to ensure the most efficient use of capacity available. · Be the ‘first point of contact’ for OTA, leisure and corporate queries and bookings ensuring efficient management of incoming calls and email communication. · Maintain a professional and organised office environment including developing filing systems and general organisation of office equipment and stationary requirements. · As part of the departments income growth strategy, management of the OTA sector is key. The Reservations and Revenue Manager will lead this activity and ensure that the OTA sales strategy is achieved. · Liaise as required with the General Manager and Sales Managers in the development and execution of online room booking sales promotions and strategies. · Daily maintenance of online channels to ensure maximum revenue optimisation and online presence. · Liaise with the General Manager in developing and executing revenue management strategies to ensure income targets are realistic and achievable. · Development and delivery of accurate weekly and monthly revenue reporting for each sub segment for OTA and other leisure segment room sales. · In-depth knowledge is required of the property management system. · The Reservations and Revenue Manager will achieve ‘master trainer’ status of the IT system and will be responsible for the necessary configuration of rates, bedroom and conference facility changes as required. · Support the on-going development of the IT system to ensure capabilities are aligned with the Departments revenue growth strategy. · Responsible for business development of the corporate accommodation market segment, through lead generation, marketing, selling and closing. · Conduct market research of this market segment to identify new leads. · Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure consistency throughout the sales process.
