Job Summary. We are currently recruiting experienced Rooms Division Manager for a 4* DeLuxe Hotel in Co Kerry. The successful candidate is a mature, highly efficient, well organised and energetic individual who leads by example and ensures guests have the best possible experience for the entire duration of their stay. The Rooms Division Manager assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments (e.g. Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Leisure). They strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of their departments. Duties: Leading, motivating and training/developing their teams to consistently develop and improve sales and quality of service. Assists in managing the execution of all operations in their departments. Effectively communicate with department managers on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of operations. Leads and drives projects in their departments. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction. Creates and nurtures an environment that emphasizes motivation, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing excellent service. Leads by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm. Assists employees in understanding guests’ ever-changing needs and expectations, and exceeding them. Strives to maximize the financial performance of their departments. Conveys the hotel's image and atmosphere through his/her exemplary attitude, warm and friendly welcome, availability and presence with the team. Carry out Duty Management shifts accordingly.
