The EPA has an Immediate vacancy for a Programme Officer I (Level 3) in the Finance Operational team. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Officer or other designated officer. The person appointed will be responsible for managing and leading the EPA’s Finance Operational Team and supporting the wider organisation with Financial guidance and advice.  The person will contribute to the management and continual improvement of the overall Finance Programme for the EPA.  The person will play a key role in strategic management and the development of strategic organisational and staff development programmes. The Finance Team, engaging with all the business units across the EPA, has responsibility for a diverse range of activities. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and work with a dynamic team to deliver ongoing development of the Finance function within the EPA.   The EPA is looking for a candidate with experience in leading a dynamic multidisciplinary team who can help ensure the Finance Team delivers an outstanding service for the organisation.   The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant with a minimum of five years’ relevant work experience.  The full range of duties and the essential requirements for this position are set out in the Candidate Information Booklet.
