Global Business have a new permanent requirement for a Global Data Protection Coordinator, the ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience working the Data Protection with a formal data protection certification. This position will be hybrid working, 3 days in the Dublin office and 2 days working remotely. Role Purpose. The role of Global Data Protection Coordinator forms part of the groups corporate data protection function located in Ireland. The focus of this role will be the production of policies and guidelines, reporting on our compliance with data protection laws as well as managing aspects of our OneTrust platform. Duties and Responsibilities. Drafting new and amending existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders. Generating reports related to our data protection KPI, identify problematic areas and work with the data protection community to solve these problems. Acting as the primary point of contact within the organization for topics related to OneTrust. Developing and delivering specialized privacy training. Acting as a back-up for the data protection coordinator looking after our global accounts when required. Involvement in confidential internal projects when required. Qualifications and Experience. Degree in law, business informatics or similar. At least 3 years of professional experience in data protection, risk, compliance, or auditing. Knowledge of data protection legislation including GDPR. Formal Data Protection certification preferred CIPP/E or CDPO. Experience in project management.
