A Bar Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment to work with a Roscommon based Hotel on a Permanent contract. THE ROLE: * Ensure the day-to-day operations for both bars and associated areas/functions are carried out in line with property standards. * In conjunction with other senior managers and financial controller, set objectives and targets for beverage unit/bar. * Determine staff needs in conjunction with other Senior Mgr's & HR. * Performance manage staff, assess development needs and train and coach staff. * Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources. REQUIREMENTS: * A minimum of 2 - 3-year bar and food management experience in a similar environment. * Self-motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent ability to lead and motivate others. * Strong organisational skills. * Possess strong knowledge of bar products and familiar with product offerings.
