Description

My client, a public sector organisation is currently seeking an Grade 3 Clerical Officer with high level administration and strong Microsoft Office skills to join their busy team on a temporary contract. The role is based in the Kilkenny area. Duties: • General administration and secretarial duties. • Attending meetings and minute taking. • Answering phones (high volume of incoming calls) in a courteous manner at all times, dealing with all enquiries politely and efficiently, displaying empathy when answering queries at the reception desk or over the telephone. • Ad-hoc reception duties. • Ensure that all administrative duties are carried out in a professional, accurate and efficient manner at all times. • Strong administrative skills are essential. • Ability to work on own initiate. Skills / Experience: • 2+ years administration or personal assistant/secretarial experience. • Excellent attention to detail. • Experience working in an office environment. • Excellent typing ability. • Strong proficiency on Microsoft Office is essential - proficient knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and databases.
