Sanderson has teamed up with a leader in the insurance industry in search of a Junior PMO Analyst on a 6 month daily rate contract. Role overview: The PMO (Programme Management Office) is responsible for ensuring GI executive management focus on strategy execution. It operates as a strategic business partner; defining the standards for delivery of change management and ensuring that strategic change/transformation programmes are run and delivered in a repeatable, standardised way. Key Responsibilities: Support the administration of GI strategic change and transformation programmes. Support the ongoing monitoring of the programmes such that cost, quality, plan, time and benefits realisation are controlled and achieved, through ensuring all projects adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for programme management, set out in the organisation's Change Management Business Standard. Support the Transformation & PMO Lead to deliver main responsibilities including scope and business case management, programme vision, benefits and quality management, portfolio management, project planning including milestone management, risk and issue management and vendor management. Co-ordinate programme reporting and assist the Transformation & PMO Lead in reporting to the GI Executive Committees, through the Strategic Change Committee. Support the Transformation & PMO Lead to ensure the organisation's Group Change Management Business Standards, Frameworks and Policies are adhered to. Co-ordinate programme related financial and non-financial KPI information. Support the Transformation & PMO Lead to provide and maintain a capacity planning and resource tracking service across all strategic change programmes. Update and maintain the Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log and Issue Register. Core to delivering these responsibilities will be to support the Transformation & PMO Lead with financial management, maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, action logs, resource forecasting, change control, dependency management and programme reporting. Key Requirements: Personable, pro-active, professional with a desire to grow your experience across a variety of projects and activities. Track record for planning, execution and delivering planned outcomes. Skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans including risks, actions, issues and dependencies. Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning. Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Excellent written and oral communication skills for reports and presentations. Diplomatic ability to influence others at varying levels of seniority within the business. Ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally to the organisation. Knowledgeable in efficient Change Management methods.
