A PTP Team Lead is required for our pharmaceutical client company in Cork. This is an initial 18 month contract position. ROLE: * Manage the PTP Accounting team to ensure daily operations are supported and ensure SLAs are monitored and met. * Ensure integrity of PTP module close and pre-close process and related activities, are maintained, including month end accruals. * Maintain regular review of Trade Accounts Payable Listing and ensure follow up on aged items by the team. * Regular review of bank reconciling items and ensure follow up on aged items by the team. * Maintain process integrity, internal and SOX controls, and ensure compliance with the Controller's Manual and all applicable laws and regulations. * Participate in ongoing and new process improvement projects with wider PTP team and continually look for areas of improvement within the team. * Support key ad-hoc activities & initiatives within PTP that align with the future global ERP implementation of S/4 HANA. * Support the training, testing and conversion phases within the S/4 HANA implementation plan. REQUIREMENTS: * 5-8 years' experience working in a PTP department of a multinational or global Finance organization, incorporating people and process management. * Accounting Technician or relevant finance/accounting qualification required. * Experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals industry a plus. * Knowledge of ERP systems (experience working with Oracle and S/4 HANA an advantage. * Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
