Sanderson are working alongside leading professional services firm to recruit a Financial Reporting Senior for the FAAS department. The FAAS (Financial Accounting and Advisory Services) department is a specialist team who primarily service complex large scale and Multinational Companies. The role is being offered on a permanent, full-time contract, on a hybrid approach of remote working and Dublin 2 office-based. The team are proactive accounting specialists who are focused on and passionate about delivering innovative and practical solutions to clients' complex financial reporting issues. The FAAS team is one of the fastest growing teams in the organisation. The candidate should have a strong background in the financial reporting in the multinational environment. Responsibilities. Providing input into the design and implementation of the business unit strategy. Working with senior team members to determine the products and services to be delivered. Improving the financial statement close process through reduction in timelines, or increasing the robustness or quality of the output. Introducing new or improved management information through the use of new BI tools or the introduction and monitoring of appropriate KPI's. Requirements. Strong experience in the preparation of financial statements under IFRS and or local GAAP. Experience in preparation of bridge files is desirable, not essential. Knowledge of automated financial reporting packages. Proficient accountant, with a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS. Qualified Accountant. Self-motivated and ability to work within a team.
