Global Insurance Group are hiring for a Business and Financial Analyst to complete a one year fixed term contract. The Business & Financial Analyst will support the European MGA platform and provide support for financial and technical operations. The position is based in Dublin and is part of an established team managing a significant and growing book of delegated authority business. This position is currently fully remote working. Responsibilities. Prepare monthly bordereaux reconciliations. Perform data integrity checks. Assist with quarterly financial reporting validations and controls. Create and bind submissions on underwriting system and file supporting documents. Ensure necessary compliance documentation is complete for assigned contracts. Assist with large loss claims bookings in the companies' underwriting system. Book XOL premiums and ensure timely payment. Log cash transactions in the company's underwriting system. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Understand business terms and reinsurance protections for each delegated relationship. Provide information required by the Insurance Manager for compliance and regulatory purposes. Develop existing accounting and transactional templates to assist the onboarding for new business. Desirable Qualifications and Experience. A university degree, preferably with a numerical focus. Ideally qualified/part qualified accountant.
