Insurance Group have a permanent opportunity available for a Senior Internal Auditor. This role is currently a hybrid working model with one day per week in the Dublin office. The successful candidate will be conducting internal audits, reporting on areas of risk or weakness, preparing conclusions and recommendations for appropriate actions. You will enjoy building a broad knowledge of the business and utilise your technical and relationship management skills and to build relationships. You will have the opportunity to interact with and learn from the senior manager team and executives. This role gives you a great opportunity to learn and develop. Key Responsibilities: Perform internal audit assignments from initiation to completion. Audit planning and risk identification for individual assignments & multi-year plans. Provide advice on risks and controls to business unit. Write clear concise reports for use by key stakeholders. Recommend control improvements that add value to the business. Work with management to develop practical solutions for issues identified. Carry out special investigations as required. Have effective business relationships across the Group and its outsourced service providers. Requirements: Qualified Accountant ACA / ACCA and or a Qualified Internal Auditor CIA with Insurance or Financial Services experience. A minimum of two to three years Internal Audit experience. Sound knowledge of current internal audit standards and regulatory environment. Strong influencing skills. Excellent communication.
