Senior Marketing Manager, Government & Public Sector. Our client is one of the world's leading professional services consulting firms. Their focus in on delivering solutions to complex business challenges. We are recruiting for a Marketing Manager with experience working with public sector clients to join the team. Ideally you will have knowledge of local and global trends in this space. You will be become part of a high performing marketing and business development team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a global professional services organisation. Your role will include a range of commercial, business development and marketing activities, including developing insights and thought leadership that inspire clients and position the company for success. You will act as the primary interface with a number of key clients. Responsibilities: Strategy & Communication. Together with the Industry Lead Partner drive the development and delivery of market strategies which identify priority growth areas, including sectors, clients & offerings. Drive strategic business development activities, ensuring a proactive approach, bringing a strong understanding of the local market. Build a strong cross-firm industry community. Strengthen connections across their Global & European network. Marketing & Thought Leadership. Create, lead, deliver a marketing plan that aligns with financial objectives. Develop project plans, set timelines, work with marketing COEs (events, design, digital & PR) to execute end-to-end campaigns across multiple marketing channels. Support Industry lead in setting sector insights agenda & the development of local sector insights. Portfolio Management & Sales Enablement. Support annual account planning & forecasting processes. Work with their commercial business partners to navigate pricing methods, structures & processes. Build a culture of sales excellence and sales enablement across the industry team. Skills. Develop an understanding of the firm, its public sector clients and services provided. Commercially focused individual who understands the GPS market in Ireland. Strong understanding of business development/sales in a professional services context. Have strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Be a strategic thinker with the ability to translate concepts into practical plans. Strong project management skills & the ability to prioritise, set, meet deadlines. Interact with all levels, especially leadership. Have excellent communications, writing & presentation skills. A blend of policy/commercial/business development & marketing experience within the public sector/ professional services environment. Degree qualified.
