Logistics Operations Manager. Our client, one of the worlds largest & most successful logistics & freight management companies, are now expanding further into the European market & have established a new operations centre in the Shannon region. As part of this expansion, they have now engaged exclusively with Cpl to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead this new team. The Job : Reporting to the European Operations Director & acting as a key part of their new leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the air, road & sea freight teams in their duties, engaging directly with key multinational clients on their needs, implementing growth strategies & upgrade projects across the Irish site & reporting on KPI's & performance metrics to leadership teams. Your Skills & Experience that we need : 3rd level degree qualified ideally in a relevant discipline. 2-3+ years experience in a similar distribution/logistics operations management role with proven exposure to air, sea or road freight management. Strong IT skills including high level ability in Excel & other Microsoft tools. Experience in freight management systems would be a major advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to manage a diverse team. Proven ability to multitask & work across projects.
