Head of Banking and Financial Stability - Department of Finance The Department of Finance is responsible for the management of the Government’s finances and it’s mission is to lead in the achievement of the Government’s economic, fiscal and financial policy goals, having regard to the goals set out in the Programme for Government. As a member of the Executive Board, the Head of Banking and Financial Stability will be responsible for the development of policies to ensure a stable and sustainable domestic and international banking sector in Ireland that supports economic activity and the needs of its customers.   The successful candidate will have: a proven track record of leadership in a relevant policy or commercial environment; the capability of setting the strategic direction and vision of the division; strong management, communication and leadership qualities including the capacity to manage, motivate and develop the potential of individuals and teams; excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrable ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
