  Job Description   Title: Full Time Insurance Services Administrator   Main Purpose Of Job:   Assisting In The Smooth And Efficient Operations Of The Department In Ensuring A High Quality Of Service To Our Policyholders  Main Duties   The Main Duties Of The Insurance Services Administrator Include The Following:    1. Credit Union Insurance Policies:  · Handling Day To Day Processing Of Claims Submitted By Credit Unions Ensuring Claims Are Processed Accurately And Efficiently;  · Dealing With The Processing Of Declaration Of Health Forms As Required;  · Inputting Data, Accurately And Efficiently, On To The Insurance Services Department Database;  · Liaising With Credit Unions To Ensure All Relevant Data Is Received;   · The Maintenance Of An Orderly Filing System;   · The Preparation Of Various Reports As Required From Time To Time.  2. Individual Consumer Policies:  · Handling Day To Day Calls From Credit Union Members Interested In Availing Of Our Member Pay Product.  · Processing New Business Applications And Recording The Member Records Accurately And Efficiently On Our Systems When Appropriate.  · Dealing With The Processing Of Policy Alterations As Required;  · The Maintenance Of An Orderly Filing System;   · The Preparation Of Various Reports As Required From Time To Time  3. To Assist In The Administration And Efficient Processing Of Renewal Notices, Processing Mid-Term Endorsements, Responding To Queries And To Follow Up With Credit Unions Or Members As Required.  4. To Deal As Necessary With Telephone Enquiries And General Correspondence In A Timely Manner And To Take Complete Ownership Of Such Queries As Required.  5. To Assist With The Identification Of Customer Expectations And To Seek To Meet And Exceed These Where Possible   6. To Execute Such Special Projects Relevant To His / Her Area Of Work As May Be Assigned From Time To Time  7. To Undertake Such Other Reasonable And Lawful Duties Not Specifically Mentioned In This Job Description As May Be Directed From Time To Time By The Supervisor/manager  8. To Ensure Compliance With Any Fitness And Probity Requirements Set Down By The Central Bank Of Ireland.  Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required:   Ø Qfa Qualification Or Accredited Product Adviser (Life) Qualification Is Desirable;   Ø Knowledge/experience Of Life Insurance Market – Desirable;  Ø Knowledge/experience Of The Credit Union Movement - Desirable;  Ø Good Computer Literacy Skills;  Ø Flexibility;  Ø Excellent Organisation Skills  Ø Must Be Able To Work On Own Initiative In Addition To Being A Good Team Player. .
