Leading Life Insurance Group in Dublin City Centre have a permanent opportunity available for an Actuarial Analyst, the Actuarial Analyst will join an experienced team part qualified actuaries and qualified actuaries. A Degree in a Mathematical or Financial subject is required as well as experience working in an actuarial function. If you are studying towards your professional actuarial qualification, study support will be provided. This position is currently fully remote working and in future it will be a hybrid of remote working and Dublin office based. Key Responsibilities; Provide technical expertise to other functions within the company. Prepare solutions to queries and also any complaints from policyholders. Prepare the data required to be used in manual annual mailings to policyholders. Identify opportunities for automation and improvements in service provided to customers. Ensuring all reinsurance data and accounts are prepared to agreed deadlines and standards. Ensuring all necessary procedures are followed and reviews and sign offs are obtained. Clear communication of any reinsurance issues. Assist with the preparation of analyses of persistency and mortality experience. Assist in the new product development process when required. Perform special quotes as required to test impact of proposed discounts on profitability metrics. Ensuring all necessary procedures are followed and reviews and sign offs are obtained. Qualifications and Experience. Degree in a Mathematical or Financial subject. Two years' experience in an actuarial function. Excellent project management and time management skills. Strong communication skills. Good IT knowledge and experience, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, VB and Access. Good planning and organisational skills. Strong numerical and technical skills.
