Its core aim is to promote and regulate the profession of teaching. Currently, there are over 109,000 primary, post[1]primary and further education teachers registered with the Council. The Council’s offices are based in Maynooth Business Campus, Maynooth, Co. Kildare. Reporting to the Head of Finance and IT, the ICT Manager will be responsible for the execution and delivery of IT Infrastructure services in the Teaching Council, ensuring stable IT operations, project delivery and end-user service excellence. Additionally, they will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the ICT Managed Services partner and Infrastructure vendors.
