As a key member of the Fund Accounting Team with the expectation that you will be part of a small management team involved in the daily running of the Company, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional administration services to a range of clients and act as a main point of contact for your clients providing them with a consistently high level of service.   An in-depth knowledge of fund accounting for Irish and offshore domiciled collective investment. schemes is essential. Supplemental on the job training will also be provided.   Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:  · Liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis and being the primary contact for clients in respect of all fund accounting and valuation matters. · Managing the audit process ensuring timely and successful completion of fund audits including preparation of fund financial statements.   · Maintaining the books and records of the funds.   · Taking responsibility for timely filing of Central Bank of Ireland returns and other regulatory filings for your client funds.   · Completion of reporting.   · Assisting with ad-hoc projects as and when required.   Qualifications & Experience   - Ideally a qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ experience working in the funds industry.  - A self-directed, client focused individual with excellent communication skills.   - A person with a strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting.   - Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines both within a team structure or independently.   - Proficient in Microsoft Applications. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills   The Company:   Swiss Financial Services (Ireland) Limited, which has been in operation in Waterford since 2003, is a member of the Swiss Financial Services Group and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
