Buyer - Procurement. This lovely new opportunity will require you to be responsible for procurement of a wide range of goods & services. Main Duties & Responsibilities. Manage the end to end tender ing process from tender development through to contract award in accordance with public procurement rules, involving all relevant stakeholders at each stage of the process. Ensure compliance of requisitions to POs on financial system. Support admin processes relating to supplier on-boarding & ongoing maintenance of supplier records etc. Ensure contracts & SLAs are reviewed & concluded & meet all business needs. Support implementation of procurement change & best practice. Meet procurement goals in terms of cost savings & service delivery in a compliant & timely manner. Identify & recommend opportunities to maximise best value, service, & efficiencies. Ensure governance, compliance monitoring & reporting as per company policy & legislation. Believe in good record keeping, admin & knowledge sharing. Build strong & effective relationships int/externally with stakeholders & supplier s to ensure good procurement initiatives & processes. Educate & Influence s/holders in public procurement best practice standards complied with. Skills Required Business Degree &/or Purchasing qualification: e.g. IIPMM, CIPS etc. Minimum 3-5 years purchasing exp in public sector. Strong portfolio within public procurement buying. Excellent verbal & written comms skills with suppliers. Happy to work alone & in a team environment. Have good project & data analytical skills; Enjoy s/holder mgt., influencing & engagement with a win win for all. Demonstrable strong M/S Office skills.
