Description

HR Project Manager. Sanderson are working in collaboration with their long standing market leading client to recruit an HR Project Manager for an 18 month contract to support the HR Transformation programme. Acting as a business change champion you will be responsible for managing the change activities and the implementation of strategic HR projects including the new HR Structure, Operating Model, HR process review, HRIS and other projects. This is focused on the people side of change including business processes, systems & technology, job roles and organisation structures. Core Duties. Support the People Services Manager in setting the strategic and operational direction for the function. Project manage a broad portfolio of HR initiatives for HR delivery, providing leadership throughout the project lifecycle creating a culture of collaboration & cooperation with organisational stakeholders. Identify potential risks or issues with project implementations. Direct and be accountable for the project management of change ensuring appropriate business readiness plans are drafted and executed. Define and ensure communication of key business engagement messages that need to be communicated throughout specific programmes/projects. Determine readiness levels for changes and projects, uncover readiness gaps and implement action plans to close those gaps, planning activities to bring stakeholders to commitment before the change or project implementation. Ensure key stakeholders are engaged and partner for successful implementation and ongoing ownership of activities. Provide coaching in project management methodologies and techniques and managing change to other HR colleagues where required. Embrace the HR Operating Model by proactively and effectively collaborating with the wider HR team and other internal partners to positively influence outcomes. Collaborate with People Services team to define data analysis and reporting standards and requirements. Skills & Experience. Minimum of a third level qualification in business or HR. At least 5 years HR project management & business change experience working with business teams, preferably HR, to deliver change projects. At least two years' experience in project management within HR or another service function. Qualified in business change methods e.g. Lean, Six-sigma, change practitioners course etc.
