Are you our next Associate Director of Business Operations ? The role will be responsible for leading the business operations for the site leadership team at our Carlow manufacturing facility. The overall responsibility for this role will be to ensure the right structures are in place to support the senior leadership team to manage business performance. What you will do: You will be responsible for identifying opportunities within the site strategic pillars and for proposing suggestions/ideas for colleague recognition and communications. Managing governance workstreams, collaborating with our automation partners to ensure project execution is completed on-time for Digital projects. Additionally: Manage governance – ensuring both run the business and change the business governance is established. Work with the site MPS (Lean Six Sigma Ethos) to ensure change the business charters are regularly reviewed. Ensuring regular review of site objectives and ensuring the team based objective performance is clear across all self-directed work teams. Continuous Improvement of the Tier 3 structure. Managing the SLT weekly agenda ensuring topical/up to date governance topics are included and managing the Site Townhalls, People Manager forum (Monthly) and lunch and learn agenda items. Ensuring regular review of site strategy and vision aligned with company goals. Develop, deploy and maintain business processes and strategy. Work directly with the site Leadership Team (SLT) to develop mid and long range plans and provide pathway for regular review of these plans and look for impact to strategy and business processes. Ensuring COGs initiatives, OEE and OPEX improvements are linked, managed and controlled. Drive a high performance organisational culture that accommodates rapid growth and highly dynamic expectations ensuring attainment of site operational and development goals. Collaborate with Quality and EHS teams to develop Learning Materials. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Science or Engineering. At least 5 years’ experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferable. Proven project management and leadership capabilities on a cross functional project. Solid collaborative skills, to be able to work in a diverse organisation. Lean Six Sigma Methodology experience desired. Report, standards, policy writing skills required.
