Covering our branches in the North East, Dublin and the East Coast you will be responsible for assisting with any aspect of the day to day branch operations /sales including maintaining high standards of customer care across several branches. The role offers the successful candidate a great development opportunity as he/she can experience different branch environments.     JOB SPECIFICATION   Provide cover for branches in the Dublin/ North East region as and when required  Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter, provide advice, information, quotations and ensure maximum level of sales and margin  Offer alternative products, up-sell where possible, promote own brands and cross brand sales  Understand and meet customer’s expectations and needs.   Keep customers updated on orders and deliveries   Monitor quotes won /lost  Monitor customer orders and deliveries  Assist with loading / unloading including booking in goods   Stay updated with product knowledge and branch targets  Assist with the collection of debtors if and when required  Adhere to health, safety and environment rules and regulations  Any other reasonable duties which may arise  Please note the above list is not intended to capture every detail of your role but the main areas of responsibility.     Person Specification  The following criteria will be used in the selection process. Only those applicants who meet the essential criteria will be shortlisted for interview. The Company reserves the right to initially shortlist those candidates who meet both essential and desirable criteria.     Essential   Minimum 1 years sales experience and/ or product knowledge in the heating and plumbing industry   Must be extremely customer focused and results driven   Basic level of IT literacy including using email.  Full clean valid driving licence   Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work including willingness to travel to any location within the North East, Dublin, East Coast area.     Desirable   Hold a current forklift license  Experience using an ERP system   Experience in stores /stock takes   Additional Information.
