An opportunity has arisen for the position of News Reporter with the Western People, the largest paid-for newspaper in the northwest and one of the leading voices in regional journalism in Ireland.  The successful candidate will preferably have an established track record as a general reporter. S/he will work under the direction of the Western People editor.  The person appointed will have a broad knowledge of current affairs, court reporting and an established track record in reporting and analysis across print and digital platforms.  The role requires a high degree of flexibility, adaptability and an ability to produce first-class work in a fast, accurate and efficient manner to digital and print deadlines.  Closing date: Friday, August 6th, 2021. .
