Sanderson has teamed up with a leader in the Insurance industry in search of a Business Analyst on a daily rate contract. The business analyst plays a key role on the programme ensuring the programme meets and delivers on key work-stream objectives on time and on budget. The role will focus on driving out business requirements and solutions to deliver sustainable changes to organisation structures, job roles and processes. The primary responsibility will be working with business lead and SMEs to perform a bottom up analysis of the existing operating model in terms of people and processes, identifying business requirements, devising business solution options, defining the associated target operating model and then working with business stakeholders to ensure business readiness and full adoption of changes. This role requires an experienced business analyst with extensive hands on experience facilitating workshops, target operating model design, requirements gathering, process modelling, producing business solution options, stakeholder and communications management; organisational readiness; change reinforcement; risks and issue management. Responsibilities: Work with the organisation's SMEs to set business requirements for outsourcing, off-shoring, efficiency initiatives (i.e. operational, regulatory, control etc. Define high level solution design (including organisation design impacts. Execute supplier analysis. Lead on process analysis for targeted efficiency areas. Supporting change manager in execution phases e.g. solution design. Provide review/oversight of organisation design related outputs as required. In collaboration with organisation design work-stream, manage restructuring process in operational functions. Identify and action risks & issues, internal and external dependencies. Business stakeholder engagement to ensure timely input to deliverables. Providing direction and support to other programme team members as required. Successful delivery of own deliverables on time and on budget. Requirements: Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10+ years' experience of business analysis in financial services/on finance led organisational change projects. Working knowledge of investment operations and investment management processes. Experience of operating investments, trading/settlements, etc. Experience of facilitating workshops, requirement gathering, process modelling and developing business solution options. Knowledge of principles and methodologies of change management and organisation design. Ability to work well at all levels of professionals the organisation. Excellent active listening, root cause identification and interpersonal skills. Excellent business analysis and business solution design skills. Good communicator and able to influence people.
