Category Manager Raw Materials. A unique role with a well established company for someone who enjoys buying raw materials or direct procurement. You will be happy to: - Manage global raw material purchasing. Work with internal s/holders (eng, ops, & quality) & ensure supplier qualification & quality. Develop & deliver detailed commodity strategy. Conduct or support negotiations & supplier selection. Deliver commodity productivity through price, value analysis & CI projects. Support (SRM) supplier reviews within commodity. Manage commodity supply whilst mitigating supplier risk. Support region/sector NPD Procurement teams through preferred supplier programs & strategy development. Qualifications & Experience BA Degree in Bus;, Supply Chain, Ops, Engineering or related field. 3 to 5 years procurement sourcing experience, consulting, buyer, &/or analyst experience. Competent at assessing vendors; coordinating discussions, consultation & negotiation skills. Strong communication skills - verbal & written.
