Area Sales Manager - Construction, Building products. Our client is a leading UK and Irish manufacturer and supplier of construction building products. Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager for ROI you will have responsibility for the Sales of their full portfolio of Building Products for the Sligo/Donegal region. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with a range of customers and influencers and take control of enquiries and customer relationships within their area. You will be required to engage with house builders, home owners, major contractors and builder’s merchants while also building relationships with Architects, Specifiers and influencers in your region. You will operate to the highest standards specifying and selling products that meet both the customer needs and the companies profit aspirations. The successful candidate will preferably have a 3rd level education or equivalent and demonstrate previous sales experience in a similar role. In addition, strong sales techniques, excellent people management and strong presentation skills to include the full Microsoft Office suite is essential. Previous sales and management training and experience of working within the Building Products Sales Sector with strong technical aptitude is desirable.
