Fáilte Ireland is seeking to recruit a B2C Digital Marketing Executive. Fáilte Ireland operates at the leading edge of digital marketing to reach and influence our target audiences. As part of a strong Digital Marketing team, you will have clear digital capabilities, skills and experience in working with people as part of an integrated team and working cross functionally with other teams and stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent relationship management of agencies and a range of external partners. Over the last 18 months Fáilte Ireland has transformed the B2C Digital Eco-System. Our ambition is to leverage visitor insights to build personal and motivating relationships with individual visitors, encouraging them to not only take a holiday in Ireland, but also to become advocates for Ireland as a destination. The role will report to the Manager, Digital Marketing and shall be based in Fáilte Ireland, Dublin 1, or Limerick. However, in line with current Government guidance, it is likely that the successful candidate will commence in this role while working from home. Please note that outside of the emergency measures currently in place by the Government, Fáilte Ireland¿s standard policy concerning work location is that it is based at its administrative offices and Tourist Information Centres. The successful candidate will commence on the 1st point of the salary scale in line with current Government pay policy.  Business Unit: Digital Marketing  Reporting to: Manager, Digital Marketing. Job Purpose. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Digital Marketing professional who is looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both the planning and execution of digital strategies, especially social media and email marketing as well as content development and analytics across all digital channels including social, ezines and websites. The focus of this role is the promotion of the Republic of Ireland as a holiday destination to all consumers on the Island of Ireland, as well as understanding the in-market experience of all visitors (domestic and international). Our strategic focus for domestic and Northern Ireland visitors is increasing the number of holidays they take across the Republic of Ireland. It is expected that the ideal candidate would have a creative and innovative mindset with the ability to collaborate brilliantly and think outside the box.  Primary Objectives/Key Responsibilities. Key Deliverables. Strategic. Contribute to the development and implementation of the social media strategy for the consumer brands (Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland¿s Ancient East, Ireland¿s Hidden Heartlands and Visit Dublin) and national brand (Discover Ireland. Leverage insights, market trends and transformative thinking to ensure we are optimising and enriching our plans ongoing. Curate and distribute our consumer brand content and campaign ideation across a variety of different social networks and owned platforms. Contribute to the development and implementation of the digital strategy to develop digital content fuelled by insights, market trends and transformative thinking. Identify the optimal social platform mix, roles of each channel and set and evaluate against KPI¿s. Contribute to the festival and events digital marketing strategy and implementation. Operational. Work with the team across divisions and lead external agency partner to deliver our marketing plans across social and VRM (visitor relationship management) channels. Constantly measure, learn and improve the Visitor CRM strategy and plan, delivering increased personalisation leading to consumer advocacy and a growing number of breaks amongst our social communities and databases. Manage platforms required for VRM and social analytics and reputation directly and indirectly via agency partner as appropriate (e.g. Google Analytics, social observation and analysing tool, UGC Collector tools, email marketing tools etc.) Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programmes, analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results.  Maintain daily and weekly site and social media update schedules to ensure all site and channels changes are accurate and timely manner. Be the guardian of our online communities and social content calendar. Input into the development & implementation of content with the wider team to ensure that content across all owned platforms is optimised for visitor requirements. Contribute to identifying and reporting on data, learnings, and ROI analysis from digital activity. Develop and maintain relationships with the agencies. Coordinate weekly meetings with agencies and stakeholders working collaboratively on briefs, implementing campaigns and always on our owned platforms. Manage the budget for social and VRM and support the members of the team in all administration and financial management tasks. Work with the Consumer Planning team to collaborate on research projects to give us greater insight and understanding of our visitor. Carry out all other duties as required and participate as a full member of the Digital Marketing Team by supporting different work projects, as required, from time to time.   Person Specification. The successful candidate should have the following essential skills and criteria: A keen eye for photography and videography with a curiosity for emerging industry trends. Experience in A/B testing and personalisation via 3rd party tools. A track record in delivering performance improvements and lead generation via Search Engine Optimisation, advertising, and Social Channels. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Able to demonstrate comfort and knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement. Strong influence: ability to lead through others and bring out the best in partners (e.g., through agency scoping requirements, and management / remuneration model in partnership with manager and procurement. Brilliant writing, communication and presentation skills.  A solid understanding of all aspects of media and specifically digital and social media¿s role with visitor experience and user engagement in mind. Teamwork.   In order to be eligible to apply for this role you must have / demonstrate in your application form the following: A minimum of three years related experience in a similar role with tangible results in building a brilliant online presence in the marketplace. Experience in working in a busy, demanding environment across multiple disciplines and the ability to easily move from strategy to execution, prioritising tasks based on the biggest business impact. Experience creating campaigns for search, paid social and lead acquisition.  Proven ability to optimise campaigns based on data ad results. Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Social Analytics and HubSpot (or equivalent Marketing CRM tool.  Experience in successfully planning and organising digital marketing campaigns  Qualifications/Mandatory Training. A Professional Qualification (minimum Level 7  under the QQI Framework) in a related discipline (Digital Marketing or Social Media) is essential.   Desirable Criteria.
