Chief Executive Officer. About the Organisation. The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) supports people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), their families and carers by providing services and supports throughout Ireland including home visits by specialist MND nurses and the supply of specialised equipment on loan. The IMNDA also represents and advocates for people living with MND, their families and carers at a national level. About the Role. IMNDA is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and be responsible for the IMNDA’s administration and financial management. Working closely with the board, their primary focus is to develop the IMNDA’s long-term strategy, budget and business plan in order to be able to support patients, their families, and carers. As people with MND are now living longer, there is further demand on the IMNDA to provide its services for a longer period which requires a greater level of income for the organisation. As such, the incoming Chief Executive Officer will have particular responsibility for diversifying the organisation’s fundraising mix and growing streams of income from a range of sources. To succeed in this role, the post holder must have extensive previous leadership experience with a strong management skillset, a strategic mindset and experience working in a multifaceted role. They must be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders and must be exceptional communicators with the ability to engage and influence at all levels. They will be self-driven, passionate about their work and comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines.  How to Apply.
