Right to Work in Ireland. Patient Manual Handling. Infection Prevention & Control. Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults (including Elder Abuse. 2 written references. Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination. Garda vetting must be completed through Excel Recruitment. Knowledge of HIQA standards and best practices. That you are compassionate, caring, patient and gentle. The responsibilities of the Healthcare Assistant Job are: Assisting patients with daily personal care, including assisting with bathing and personal hygiene. Maintaining personal dignity and privacy. Providing companionship and reinforcing the patient's feelings of comfort and safety. Advocating for the patient. Liaising with the care team and carrying out any assigned tasks.
