Inventory Manager - FMCG job, Co. Meath. As Inventory Manager, you will work hand-in-hand with the onsite team and the support office to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the stock management system. You will be confident in managing and maintaining the details of their client's stock and make sense of their locations on site in order to deliver a smooth operation. This will entail managing a high volume of SKU's so an eye for detail and accuracy are key. To be successful as Inventory Manager, you will need to have great working knowledge of the inventory management process using SAP, and come from a FMCG and or warehousing environment. This is a growing Irish business and has been busier than ever this year, managing and supplying well-known brands into retailers and independents nationwide. Your day-to-day: Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks. Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved. Work directly with the client and answer all inventory queries within the agreed time frame. Liaise with site management to ensure that goods inward / stock control department is well organised and controlled to sufficiently ensure accuracy of stock. Ensure the client is kept informed of stock profile (Seasonal and Aged. Create, update and maintain accurate written procedures for all inventory control processes and functions. Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved. Previous Experience Required: 3 years + inventory management experience (ideally in a large FMCG environment. Excellent working knowledge of inventory management process using SAP. Proficient in the use of MS Office applications. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal. Excellent leadership and people skills. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
