Area Manager Munster We here in Excel Recruitment are recruiting for one of the largest and most successful retail supermarket chains in the world. Due to expansion, our client is looking to recruit senior retail managers who have previous experience in project management or area management experience. This is an amazing opportunity for a hands-on,customer-focused, and highly motivated individual who is looking to move up the corporate ladder. Our client offers world-class training, that will offer exposure to all areas of the business including their state of the art supply chain, head office department, and provide a detailed analysis of how their stores run and make money. The successful candidate must already hold a senior management role, ideally within a customer-facing environment, that is demanding and measured on sale targets and budget management. The successful candidate will need to be highly flexible and committed to their training, this will also include regular travelling and overnight stays in different parts of the country while you train. Our client offers an excellent package of €65,000k basic that continues to increase year on year, a fully expensed company vehicle, pension, and health care. The requirements for this Area Manager job: Senior management experience within a customer-facing environment or ideally multi-site experience. A full clean driving licence. Must have a degree within any discipline or actual experience as a Regional or Area Manager where you are responsible for the performances of large teams. Must have a strong business background, strong commercial acumen, and possess a strategic business mindset. You will need a can-do attitude, proactive and positive manager who can resolve problems and bring teams along with them to achieve overall success. You will need to have a resilient and tenacious personality, with a winning attitude to thrive here. Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability and understanding to use different forms of communication to get the best results and keep your teams informed of any changes to policies, business strategy, and business objectives. Must be highly proficient in using basic Microsoft office, such as Excel and Powerpoint. Must be flexible and willing to travel and work unsocial hours, especially within the first 12 months as you will be required to train across different stores and regions while you learn the business and role.
