General Notice: Timeframes for Traineeships in the European Parliament (Various Deadlines) (GMT=CET=1hr). Traineeships include: • University graduates - General Option (Schuman Scholarships. •Journalism Option (Schuman Scholarships. •Graduates with disabilities and. •Linguists (Luxembourg) [students with knowledge of at least three EU official languages] Training Placements (generally between 1-4 months. (a) Leaving Certificate or equivalent Higher Technical Certificate to the level required for entry to University (must be 18 by the first day of placement. (b) Undergraduate - Non-compulsory training placements. Dates & deadlines non-compulsory training placements: •Apply 1 August-1 October: Start 1 January. •Apply 1 December-1 February: Start 1 May. •Apply 1 April-1 June: Start 1 September. (c) Compulsory training placements (as part of your course - undergraduate university or equivalent standard , •in high-level vocational training organised by a non-profit-making body (notably public institutes or bodies), •as a prerequisite for access to a profession, (requires supporting documentation from professional body.
