Job Description. General Manager / Director of Operations required to manage a very busy Bar Complex / Entertainment Venue in Cork City Centre. The role will require the effective and efficient management of all Food, Beverage and Events business and coordinating Operations, Sales and Financial performance, reporting to the Directors. Requirements. · Experience in managing extremely busy Entertainment, Bar and Food service operation. · Candidates need experience managing large busy team, high profile property. · Full responsibility for Operations, Financial performance, security, Sales development etc. · Must display effective leadership and team development abilities. · Reliable, committed, motivated and above all professional person required. · Must display strong attention to detail and be very standards and service driven. · Proven experience in coaching, training, mentoring your team, supporting HR function etc. · A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, friendly and outgoing personality. · 10 years Director of Operations or General Management experience needed in a similar large Venue. · Work Permit is not available for this role, full legal status to work in Ireland is required. · Fluent English and excellent IT and admin skills required. Responsibilities. · Manage daily team operations and coordinating all areas of the Bar / premises. · Lead and guide the Management team to deliver on Company polivies and procedures. · Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail. · Manage your premises effectively, coordinating Security, Health and Safety, · Managing Tills, cash, pricing, promotions, special events, stock control etc. · Observe all shift and opening / closing procedures adhering to all C-19 guidelines. · Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all, team and guests.
