A Data Architect is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our South Dublin based client. If you have experience in Architecting end to end enterprise analytics solutions in a Medium / Large Industries. THE ROLE: * Facilitate business workshops to define, design, and document analytics data needs. * Translate analytics data needs into functional specifications and architectural designs that include: data definitions, data model, data flows and transformations/logic required. * Guide and direct the design, development, and implementation of enterprise information data models, data flows, data life cycle, and overall data management leading practices in a complex environment. * Managing data as a critical asset across all the organization's business functions. * Defining a robust and scalable data architecture to manage data according to formal concepts, principles, and techniques. * Maintain logical data design, data integration and the specification of data. * Ensure accurate and up-to-date project and solution life cycle documentation. * Select appropriated technology components to realize solution designs. * Plan, set up and execute business and technology initiatives to fulfil analytics data needs. Facilitate cooperation and coordination between data stewards, data architects, and technical architects. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar. * Minimum of five years of hands on experience architecting end to end enterprise and advance analytics solutions in medium to large industries. * Minimum of three full cycles of global analytics initiatives. 5+ years of experience in data modelling, maintenance and security in global analytics initiatives. * Ideally certified in one SAP functional module. * Ideally one end-to-end ERP SAP implementation cycle. * Extensive experience in SQL and one of the following databases: Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL. * Experience in working in AWS environment (S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift. * Experience with ETL and DWH/ BI projects. * Knowledge and experience with Informatica technology (Informatica IDQ, MDM, PowerCenter, IICS. * Knowledge and experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik etc.) Please call Louise Mulligan today for further information on 0949003979 or email: lmulligan@careerwise.ie.
