About the Company You will be joining a Leading International Consultancy who have been in operation now for over 40 years, growing to over 900 design professionals in 20 locations across, Ireland, the UK, Europe, MENA and Australia. Within this experience, this company have also built an extremely impressive portfolio where they have worked in the majority of building sectors, including; Data Centres, Commercial, Residential, Mixed-use, Educational and Aviation. You will be joining the company's Dublin office, where you will gain the rare opportunity to join a small but growing team of around 30 staff, within a large well know brand, where you will get great exposure working on large scale, high profile projects. About the Role You will be joining the offices Building Services team where you will be working across a variety of sectors including Government, Critical Systems, Healthcare, Rail, Workplace and Residential. You'll be joining a team of expert engineers and technicians, and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects for high profile public and private clients. Within this role, you will be heavily involved with the design and specification of electrical service and production of detailed Schematics on the above project types, as well as, gaining exposure through various project stages. You'll gain the opportunity to develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business. You’ll have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and with accredited professional development programmes from CIBSE and IET, you’ll be fully supported towards achieving chartership. What you need to Succeed To be eligible for this role you will ideally have the following Qualifications/Experience: Educated to a Level 8/9 degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Experience in an Electrical Engineering role within a building services context (design and coordination of electrical distribution and power generation, lighting, security systems etc. Proficient user of relevant design software including Amtech and ideally, Dialux.
