I've teamed up with a leading construction company in search for an IT Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will be based in Westmeath with responsibility for IT projects within Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Responsibilities: Leading and managing technical projects from scope to implementation. Take ownership of allocated projects and professionally manage them through to resolution/conclusion. Managing change control, including SLAs, risk and information security. Providing knowledge and support to the technical support team where required, both for internal teams and any external partners. Provide technical delivery of Infrastructure projects along-side engineers. Manage multiple projects at the same time across all areas of the group and adhering to strict timelines to deliver the projects in a professional and timely manner. Must possess excellent verbal communication skills in addition to exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and technical documentation skills. Responsible for ensuring successful delivery, sign off and hand over to support services post project. Ensuring all documentation and network diagrams are accurately completedupdatedcreated including the maintaining of asset information and configurations. Allocating and logging time to tasks and projects in an accurate and detailed manner. Manage incidents, problems and changes through helpdesk ticket management system as required. Proactively support company compliance to Health and Safety legislation through adherence to company polices, processes and practices. Work closely when required with all members of the IT team across the group. Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT Technical support and experience in an IT Project based environment. Experience is delivering and managing multiple IT projects simultaneously. Understanding of Desktops, Servers, Networks LAN/WAN including cloud hosted solutions. Understanding of firewalls and Routers. Accuracy in process documentation. Ability to prioritise workload, flexible in approach to problems and use own initiative to achieve results. Excellent time management skills. Excellent communications skills. Professionalism and confidence at all times. Must be prepared to travel to any sites across the group for short periods at short notice which may include overnight stays.
