Description

Duties include. • Support for infrastructure environment (network switches, servers, backup tape library) – under guidance from the responsible offshore support towers. • Data Centre Tasks – rack new hardware, follow HW retirement process, visible checks. • Provide support on client sites. • Work to resolve client issues to agreed service levels and in a professional manner. • Take ownership of calls escalated from the service desk. • Videoconferencing equipment – test and meeting support• Dedicated commitment to service quality. • Candidate will need to demonstrate that they can work well in a team environment. • Answer contacts and reply to emails promptly and professionally. • Manage end to end all tickets logged, providing regular updates to customers on call status. • Invoke Escalation Procedures within defined time frames. • Working in a regulated environment, the candidate will need to be consistent in following safety and operational procedures. • Adhere to all ITAM Asset management procedures - tagging assets, adding, removing, updating, inventories, etc. • Organize daily workflow using call logging system to respond, update progress and close out reported incidents. What you need. • Proven hardware and Neworking skills. • Experience of supporting Microsoft Office suites including Office 365. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Infrastructure support e.g. switches, servers, patching, etc. • Printer hardware knowledge. Please note you must have a valid Irish working visa and you must drive to travel to clients site.
