Service Manager required for temporary role with north Dublin community based addiction and recovery service. This position will commence immediately on a short term basis initially with the possibility of extension. Our client provides an individualised,evidence based and outcomes focused interventions to people with addiction issues and in recovery using a number of tools including Community Reinforcement Approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. The service manager will be responsible for leading a team staff management and operational duties. The main responsibilities include: Key holder for service. Daily management of staff rota and running of weekly team meetings. Supporting staff with day to day service operations and case management support. Deliver the service operations plan and develop in line with the changing guidelines on COVID 19; Collation of a weekly activity report on the service to the Board of Management. Report to the Board of Management at the monthly on a monthly basis. Role requirements: Level 7 in Social Care, Addiction Studies or a related field (essential); A minimum 3 years in a service management/leadership role (essential); Management qualification (desirable); Experience working in a city based homeless, addiction or crisis social care setting (essential.
