Description

This is a key positon within the Procurement team, for one year (min) where you will : - Lead the Professional Services, HR, Financial & Travel strategic sourcing. Negotiate the best commercial terms with suppliers for your stakeholders & lead sourcing activities for these categories. Manage suppliers for all 3rd party spend & managing corporate governance & oversee customer engagement. Key Responsibilities. Speedily prioritise & deliver commercial & contractual negotiations against agreed targets; and own the procurement lifecycle & risk. Drive cost reduction via process & contract efficiencies. Build rel'ships with existing & potential suppliers & ensuring quality, cost, minimum risk & continuity of supply. Build strong rel'ships by liaising with multiple s/holders, managing supplier contracts. Highlight risk & supply issues to senior stakeholders & host meetings with suppliers & stakeholder. Produce mgt. info ensuring account achievements & challenges met. with internal s/holders & external vendors. Essential Skills & Experience. Solid demonstrable experience in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of global sourcing , including prior experience in Professional Services, HR, Financial & Travel strategic sourcing. * Prior Travel management experience including knowledge of global travel platforms is ideal. * Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously & drive to completion effectively. * 5 years procurement experience in a large organisation. * Solid & demonstrable vendor Mgt. &/or procurement experience. * Effective team player with excellent communication skills. * Excellent negotiation skills; a proven ability to over achieve Vs targets & drive projects to a close within aggressive timelines. * Can engage & influence at all levels of an organisation. * Can work with minimal supervision but engage with a wide team. * Full understanding of RFI/RFP & all tender processes. * Good knowledge of SLA's, KPI's, particularly about enforcing those SLA's & KPI's. * Analytical & problem-solving skills based on a data driven approach. Experience negotiating & understanding of legal frameworks & contract law. Undertaking market research & analysis across indirect & direct spend. Knowledge of financial reporting tools & manage corporate risk profile. Strong Excel & analytical skills. Excellent Rewards. Great career prospects.
