Building & Facilities Conservation Architectural Project Manager. A unique role is to provide professional conservation & architectural/project management support to the restoration & alteration projects on "listed/protected" buildings for minimum one year but there is a strong possibility it will be for longer. In this role you will be reporting to a Building & Facilities Manager but work closely with the B&F team; M&E; Structural Engineering; Safety Executive and the project team. Specific responsibilities are to manage the following: - Engineering - Be the architectural lead consulting with Local authority Conservation planners, including pre-planning consultations. Safety - Act as a PDDP (Project Development and Delivery Planner) & be responsible for a PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage. Finance - Production of cost plans, tender evaluation, interim payment certification of projects, final account & approved change control. You will have: - Hons Level (8) in Architecture & a Post Grad in Project Management. Min 10 years' exp. in restoration & alteration of protected structures as a architectural & project management lead. Min 10 years holding construction regulation PSDP (Project Supervisor Design Process) role. It would be ideal if you had a Safe Pass; Manual Handling & Asbestos Awareness Training too. Competencies: - Project management - leading multi-disciplinary professional team. Have managed Asbestos removal within a restoration project. Architectural CAD skills and understanding of drawings. Preparations of planning applications. Building & Maintaining Relationships & excellent communication skills. Project manager of in-house & outsourced multi-disciplinary professional services team & PSCS contractor for various network projects.
