We are delighted to be working with our Mid-Ulster based client who specialises in stone masonry and precast construction work for both the residential and commercial sectors. They have recently won a new tender for this large-scale project in York which involves constructing 18 student accommodation blocks erecting 2 or 3 blocks at a time. Due to the scale of the project they wish to recruit a Site Supervisor . This is an exciting opportunity, with a competitive salary, for the right individual, as the company continues to expand, grow, and succeed. Key Duties/Responsibilities : Be responsible for the day to day running of your block. Ensure you and your team are adhering to site rules and ensuring compliance with Company Health & Safety policies. Follow delivery schedules for each building and inform Project Manager if a change is required. Maintain daily records on any issues which arise. Driving team to exceed targets and deadlines. Keep appropriate site records including time sheets, order book, site diary and health and safety records. Maintain and update project reporting and planning. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and attend meetings as required. A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines. Assist with the training of new employees. Report and record any site hazards/accidents to Project Manager, compete paperwork if required. Carry out any other task as instructed by Management deemed to be reasonable in this post. Essential Requirements: Minimum 3 years site supervisor experience and driving a team to exceed targets. Excellent organisational skills. Precast experience is essential. Must have completed their SMSTS. IPAF 3a & 3b. Forklift Licence. Current CSR/CSCS card. CPCS Appointed Person preferable. Computer/tablet knowledge.
