Looking for an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to lead a Unit Dose Manufacturing area in a leading pharmaceutical company in Mayo. Key responsibilities: Lead, motivate and drive engagement within the team and hold team accountable for performance. Manage direct reports for time and attendance in line with the company’s disciplinary policy and standards, performance management & development including annual reviews, ensuring they have a clear understanding and are accountable for the performance levels expected of them. Ensure shift Process Technicians are given clear direction and information to perform daily tasks as per production schedule. Proactively identify training needs for shift and direct reports and facilitate completion of training. Ensure that all aspects of the area of responsibility are fully staffed and that any constraints are managed appropriately. Be responsible for compiling, maintaining and reviewing all necessary reports, documentation batch records relevant to manufacturing area including use of relevant software systems and standard procedures. Building and delivering themanufacturingplan of record against budget and forecast. Be proactive in the identification of process related issues including escalation & follow up with support teams for effective resolution and implementation. Assist, plan and implement continuous improvement ideas / opportunities. Have a strong focus on the lean elements of standard Work, TPM, Continuous Improvement OPEX and visual management. Complete Root cause Analysis in a manner which prevents a re-occurrence of quality issues and reduction of deviations. Contribute and assist with Auditors and other regulatory bodies during company audits. Key requirements: A third level qualification in Science or Engineering is desirable. 5 years’ experience of working in a highly regulated Pharmaceutical Industry. Experience on sterile filtration, bulk heat manufacturing, aseptic operation and operations in classified environment is desirable. Knowledge of Blow Fill & Seal (BFS) technology is a benefit.
