The QC Microbiology Analyst. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : The QC Microbiology Analyst will carry out microbiological and analytical testing for in-process and final release by means of endotoxin, bioburden, mycoplasma as well as sterility. They will carry out method validation and suitability. Perform environmental monitoring sampling and testing of facilities, equipment, and critical utilities. Evaluate completed assay validity, calculate and summarize results, analyse data per expected or specification ranges. Compilation and verification of trend analysis reports. Perform growth promotion of media and microbial identification testing. Oversee aseptic practices. The QC Microbiology Analyst will participate in the technical transfer / validation of microbiological testing procedures. Participate in root cause analyses as part of investigations into any non-conformances. Ensure that any OOS or OOT results are managed as per SOP. Prepare and review documents as required. Prepare for, and support, internal and external audits. Perform other responsibilities as deemed necessary. JOB REQUIREMENTS: The QC Microbiology Analyst will have a Degree in Microbiology or other relevant field with at least 1 years experience working in Microbiology in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience of microbiology testing including Sterility, endotoxin, bioburden, mycoplasma and Environmental Monitoring. Knowledge of GMP and current FDA & EMEA regulations.
